Spring 2012 Campaign Round Up

Spring campaign season is getting started early this year and several supermodels we love have glammed up for an ad moment. We've got gorgeous leggy mom Gisele Bundchen gracing Givenchy campaign, in addition to the blue-ish Versace one, and we also love seeing major models give us their best disgruntled but dangerously chic '50s housewife pouts and watching Prada's flame-printed chiffons fan out against gleaming hot rods. 

Louis Vuitton Cruise 2011 Lookbook

 Marc Jacobs successfully created a modern take on vintage apparel for the Louis Vuitton cruise 2011 collection, and with the release of the accompanying lookbook, we get a glimpse at the pieces in action in a breezy retro-inspired Summer setting.

Clad in elegant, feminine pieces by designers such as Hermes, Nina Ricci, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton, the three models turn the city streets into a catwalk, in yet another vintage inspired editorial for Vogue Germany's September Issue.

Fifties Lady Revival

When I first saw Louis Vuitton FW collection on runway, I was like "Wow! No more stud, no shoulder pad, no military, seriously? 

Thanks Marc, this must be the time I've been waiting for"

Well, I told you before I have a big thing for 50s fashion; classic day dresses with a 50s edge, nipped waists and full skirts. They are what I'd love to wear on a daily basis, despite some weird expressions coming from onlookers. But with retro ladylike trend a key look for this upcoming Fall, full skirts must be blooming all around.. Love it :)
