Festive Alert (Wish List Round-up)

It's been one month and 24 days since my previous update... Sorry for lack of posting. Some of you might have heard about flooding stories ravaging Bangkok (if you haven't, now you do). It's the worst disaster we've ever encountered. My house is located in one of the city's most flood-prone areas, and as sadly as the story goes, it has been flooded for almost a month now. Unavoidably, we had to evacute to safe place and now I'm channeling the life of foreign tourist, staying in guesthouse on Khao Sarn Rd, near my workplace. It's one of the saddest time for us, not just my family, but more than one million people affected by the flood.

We've been so stressful that we almost forgot that it's approching the end of November. Yes, Christmas is just around the corner, the best time of year! Have any of you had a plan, vacation, wishlist or whatever in place? I've been browsing some stuff too and here's what I've come up with.

Merry-Go-Round

If there's one thing I could ask from Santa this coming Christmas, there's nothing I would ever want more than this pretty round thing being adorned on the faces of the Olsens and Nicole Richie. Chanel half-tint has been on top of my wishlist like FOREVER, but sadly, I'm pretty sure I could never have a chance to get one in my life.. as this model is extremely hard to find, and of course, it comes with an exclusively skyrocketing price :-(

Cat-eye glasses are back from the fifties and has become shade style of the moment for models, celebs, and fashionistas everywhere. Designers are definitely having some fun playing around with this classic '50s staple. For their SS'10 shows, Alexander Wang, Giles Deacon, and Miuccia Prada revealed oversized versions of the frames in statement-making colors like gold, hot pink, and orange. The summer heat lends a nod to the retro ladylike and fierce fashions!
