Festive Alert (Wish List Round-up)

It's been one month and 24 days since my previous update... Sorry for lack of posting. Some of you might have heard about flooding stories ravaging Bangkok (if you haven't, now you do). It's the worst disaster we've ever encountered. My house is located in one of the city's most flood-prone areas, and as sadly as the story goes, it has been flooded for almost a month now. Unavoidably, we had to evacute to safe place and now I'm channeling the life of foreign tourist, staying in guesthouse on Khao Sarn Rd, near my workplace. It's one of the saddest time for us, not just my family, but more than one million people affected by the flood.

We've been so stressful that we almost forgot that it's approching the end of November. Yes, Christmas is just around the corner, the best time of year! Have any of you had a plan, vacation, wishlist or whatever in place? I've been browsing some stuff too and here's what I've come up with.

Shoes Obsession Part 2 - Wedges

I know summer is over and it's time to concentrate on a nice pair of Oxford shoes or lace-up booties. But it seems that right now I cannot stop thinking about two pairs of chunky wedges I had tried on at the mall over a week ago.

Remember last time that I was so into clogs that I couldn't sleep and had to dedicate all weekend on a quest to find ones..?? I bet this time wouldn't be much different.. My mind probably won't be able to rest until it gets what it desires...

Wedges in the top three pictures above are Givenchy and the latter two are Celine

This one from Moschino Love is not really my style but it's kinda cute :-)

It's Worth Every Penny

Penny loafers are a classic style of shoes that can be worn at nearly any age. With the return of retro 50s glamour this upcoming fall, designers from Marc Jacobs to Christian Louboutin have given a nod to this slip-on shoe. The key to wearing penny loafers is to keep things sleek and simple, with modern updates to make them in tune with the times.

Penny loafers are a great alternative to ballet flats, as they offer the same means of fashion and function, but won't be spotted on every other woman when you're out and about. And here are some style icons we've seen comfortably rocking the shoes here and there.
