24 Faubourg Saint Honoré windows, by Leïla Menchari

printemps - spring 2000

24, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is an historical address for Hermès, as the company founder Charles-Emile Hermès opened his workshop there in 1880. Now the flagship store, its role is to present the brand’s most beautiful products to the world and offer surprising window displays renewed 4 times a year. Crammed with the finest luxury objects, the windows are a delight for the senses for their impressive range of materials and colors, but also for the music broadcasted by the store in the street. Tunisian-born decorator Leïla Menchari has been the creator of these window displays for 50 years.
