ORANGE, the color of the season and Maxi skirt, the hottest item on every runways, and Voila! The IT skirt of the season!! Jil Sander twill peplum skirt is dominating magazine editorials here and there. Worn with plain t-shirt, it brings coolness, and modern look to a heavy-elaborate looking couture piece.
At last, here's a look at what vintage treasures Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen have in store for us with their retail concept "Lucy in Disguise". Launched first as a vintage shop in London, Allen and Owen have created their own inspired collection, filled with modern riffs on retro styles. The 18-piece collection ranges from whimsical maxi dresses, flirty mini frocks and 70s inspired jumpsuits, each labelled with its pretty name. As a vintage lover, this is a fantastic collection I must say!

As another fashion week season kicked off, our eyes are not actually on those new collections being unveiled on runways, but rather fixed on the real star of the show, the fashionistas who come out and make a style statement in the fashion scene. And to celebrate Men Fashion Week, I dedicated this post to all those men spotted in fashion capitals. Captivating is a key word!

From runway to real way. Here's how the Chloe girl looks like in the Ready-to-Wear collection of Spring 2012. Photos were taken in downtown Paris by Garance Dore from the garancedore.fr fashion blog. Such a beautiful collection.

Stefano Pilati decided to go nautical, perky and chic for Yves Saint Laurent resort 2012 collection. Classy nautical accessories including gold anchor chains, white belts, and gold buttons were presented throughout the collection. The designer freshened up the looks by using colorful prints involving anchors and poppies.
Gucci is turning 90 this year, but she doesn't look a day over 25 for the resort 2012 collection. It's all about gold, nude, and colorblocking. I'm drooling over the white plain shirt and gold skirts in all shapes!

NY socialite Olivia Palermo has captured some media's attention earlier this month as she strutted down the runway at Rio Fashion Week for Coca Cola SS'2012 show. Palermo always shows up in perfect combination from head to toe. Here are some of her looks on those easy-breezy days. Very polished, understated chic and she's making every girl jealous.

Coco Chanel once said "A girl should be two things: Classy and Fabulous" But Nicky Hilton has a lot more than that. Leaving the fact that she's incredibly rich aside (wealth is not a factor, think Paris Hilton), her style is impeccable and she's a very nice lady. Well, I'm officially jealous.

New mommy Rachel Zoe takes us back to the 70s with her retro 'woodstock' inspired 2012 Resort lookbook. A collection full of thigh high slit dresses, playful jumpsuits, flared jeans, colourful patterns and sequin minidresses... I fell in love with the whole collection I can't even choose my favorite!!

The film industry might have the grandest awards season - and the longest - but when the fashion world celebrates its own, it's a truly memorable affair. Take the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards, for example.

It's finally the time of year I was looking forward to: the ad campaign season! And Mulberry has rolled out a sneak peek of its advertisement ahead of the pack straight from the lens of brand-fave Tim Walker.

Diane von Fursternberg went 1970s by way of the 30s in her Pre-Fall collection. The colors came through in burnt orange, turquoise, emerald green and mustard yellow. Colorblocking is still to be seen at least for another season, along with retro pieces such as A-line skirts and trenches. Love XXX
Three preview images of Chanel Autmn 2011 ad campaign were recently released during the Cannes Film Festival. The campaign features the designer's favorite Freja Beha, making her return as the label's face in the fifth season running. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, this campaign is even more priviledged as it was styled by one of the most powerful women in fashion industry, Carine Roitfeld, ex-editor of Vogue Paris.
