Spring 2012 Campaign Round Up

Spring campaign season is getting started early this year and several supermodels we love have glammed up for an ad moment. We've got gorgeous leggy mom Gisele Bundchen gracing Givenchy campaign, in addition to the blue-ish Versace one, and we also love seeing major models give us their best disgruntled but dangerously chic '50s housewife pouts and watching Prada's flame-printed chiffons fan out against gleaming hot rods. 

Chanel Autumn 2011 Ad Campaign Preview

Three preview images of Chanel Autmn 2011 ad campaign were recently released during the Cannes Film Festival. The campaign features the designer's favorite Freja Beha, making her return as the label's face in the fifth season running. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, this campaign is even more priviledged as it was styled by one of the most powerful women in fashion industry, Carine Roitfeld, ex-editor of Vogue Paris.

Chanel Cruise 2012

Chanel cruise shows are nothing short of epic. While the presentation for his Fall And Spring collections take place in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld decides to reveal his cruise shows in far away lands; St. Tropez, Venice, Miami, to name a few. This year he chose Cap d'Antibes on the French Riviera as a location. The collection is really impressing, I mean, (to me) it looks sooooo elegant and charming. I love it more than the previous two collections of Chanel. Oh.. and the models, they are so captivating. This is Magical!!

The Tale of a Fairy Preview

Chanel does not take Resort lightly, if past shows in China and Saint-Tropez are any indication.

Karl Lagerfeld has today revealed his latest project: a 30-minute film to be shown along with his cruise collection in Cap d'Antibes this Monday night.

Courtesy of Vogue Paris, Karl Lagerfeld has photographed 7 sneak peek images of Chanel's Pre-Fall 2011 collection for us to gaze at in excitement. The collection is inspired by the Byzantine Empire and including a very special limited edition eye-shadow palette created by Peter Philips, International director of the creation of the make-up.

Merry-Go-Round

If there's one thing I could ask from Santa this coming Christmas, there's nothing I would ever want more than this pretty round thing being adorned on the faces of the Olsens and Nicole Richie. Chanel half-tint has been on top of my wishlist like FOREVER, but sadly, I'm pretty sure I could never have a chance to get one in my life.. as this model is extremely hard to find, and of course, it comes with an exclusively skyrocketing price :-(

Shopping Fever

Following his cinematic debut in St.Tropez with Remember Now, Karl Lagerfeld has cast his favorite models Abbey Lee and Dree Hemingway in a new short Shopping Fever, featuring Karl’s muse Baptiste Giabiconi.

The short film has been edited to resemble a movie trailer , a teaser of a full-length film that doesn’t exist and the girls are decked out in the fall/winter 2010/2011 pre-collection, bien sur.

Chanel Fluffy Ad Campaign FW 2011 - In the Making

I've never uploaded so many photos this much before but guess this time is -a must- These are behind-the-scene shots by the Greyest Ghost , New York based photographer who was so lucky to capture all these amazing moments! Karl and his two fluffy dolls Freja and Abbey were on Orchard Street for an anticipated ad campaign for Fall/ Winter 2011. The Keiser ever snapped some of the photos himself.. I feel so blessed living until the day I know Karl Lagerfeld!! He Rocks!!
